Safer Neighborhoods
Bill will prioritize mentorship, violence interruption, trauma-informed care, responsible technologies, and community policing to make Chicago the safest big city in the country. He will put Chicago to work building homes where families feel safe and can thrive.
Better Schools
Bill brings firsthand understanding of the challenges—and potential—of Chicago’s education system. He will expand educational opportunity to include vocational and technical classes. He'll ensure that every child, in every neighborhood, has a school they can be proud of.
Stronger Finances
Chicago shouldn’t have to choose between higher taxes and indiscriminate cuts to stop the debt spiral. Bill will create a real 10-year budget plan, demand accountability, and shift resources toward the programs, services, and strategies that actually serve the city and its residents.
Less Gridlock
Bill knows that Chicago is stuck right now. Failed leadership at the top is holding us back because they’re driven by political ambition and indebted to special interests. Bill has a proven record of breaking through the gridlock and getting things done.
